Charcoal Peel-Off Mask Claims To Unclog Pores | The Zit Fix

The Shills Natural Science Purifying Peel-Off Black Mask claims to unclog the pores with the help of activated charcoal. This mask has been all over the internet and is known as being very painful to remove. Insider Producer Celia Skvaril decided to try out the mask for herself to see if it actually works. She looked at her pores beforehand under the microscope, while peeling off the mask, and afterwards to determine whether or not the mask is worth the pain. She also spoke to Dr. Mamina Turegano who helped her determine if the mask did more harm than good.

Celia has been struggling with a bad acne breakout since November 2019. In “The Zit Fix,” she will be trying out a bunch of different products — microscope included — to see if they help her breakouts, while getting help from experts along the way.

  1. Anyone using peel off masks just leave them on for 30 mins i just bought some cheaper gentle charcoal face mask and it says 25 to 30 mins and that was correct it was dry.

It did pull up a few blackheads on my nose, but i’m gonna have to quickly rub it in a bit more on the other it didn’t get up, because the blackheads are in some deeper pores then touch it up with a thicker amount. I can tell it didn’t do much the first time around but it did already do something so that’s great. It looks like it brought the pink heads more to the surface too that are how blackheads start so that should help it clear up. I think the goal of these masks is just to get up all of that oil and dirt, it could help your more severe clogged pores but it will probably take more time for it to clear up because there’s a lot of excess in there.
