Making Unscented Soap (with Oatmeal!) for Sensitive Skin

In this video, I’m making our Oatmeal & Aloe soap, which is made from our avocado butter soap base recipe and includes quite a bit of colloidal oatmeal. It’s a favorite bar for many folks with sensitive skin. I also show you how to warm up your 50/50 lye water solution when making soap, which is a commonly asked question! We spend a little time talking about the benefits of including unscented soaps in your product line. We hope you enjoy it!

  1. You are such an inspiration to me, I have also started my soap business. Thank you for always teaching us ❤

  2. I have been trying to get my family on board with starting out own businesses. I have started doing bbq and think this would be great for them. And you are so very detailed which is what I like. A lot of people hold stuff close to the vest. Enough money to go around for everyone. Thank you so much.

  3. Can you use aloe gel instead of aloe water? If so how much of the gel would you use? Also in your Spiced Oatmeal & Honey soap can the essential oil and 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon be omitted and use the rest of the recipe as is?
